 * 2008 Donate a new toy to Slamarillo during the November and December slam and get $2 off the cover. Toys will be donated to a Christmas outreach.

* 2007-08 Bringing a swarm of national touring poets to Amarillo to promote poetry.

* 2007-08 Slam Poetry Awareness Mock Slams hit up Hastings, Amarillo College, WTAMU and local churches. Educating people about misconceptions about poetry.

* 2007 Slamarillo launches a poetry outreach workshops to teens & preteens. Workshops included Amarillo's YMCA, Amarillo Public Library & local High Schools.

* 2007 Grand Slam Winner chooses Bethesda Community Outreach as Winner's Nonprofit Choice. Slamarillo donates over $300.
